- Bone recovered was in good state of preservation apart from right femur which had been damaged by mattock
- Cracking occurred when lifting
- Skeleton truncated by pit (1271); head not present but would have been at east end; Sample No. 99, Photos taken; Sketch overleaf, transferred to plan; coffin nails found
