Description

    • Cut of pit. Contained some pot sherd & tile (seems to be of mixed periods, the latest being post med - so the earlier stuff is residual) and D.A.B., not really much though considering its size. The bulge in the S. side of cut could be explained by the slumping of the sides, creating (648), the primary fill of this pit.
