Description

- Cut of pit-Roman. [1213] contained a few deposits (1212)- main fill, (1222)-two pottery vessels and remains of a human skull and other bones (1254) in a dark greyish fill. [1213] truncates an earlier feature [1263] to the south which is a pit as well. Its E and W sides were a bit unclear so a slight over cut may have been done there. [1213] were more like an irregular cut of a pit rather than a grave cut but the pottery deposit and the skull should be taken into consideration though
