Description

    • Seems to be a re-cut of the linear feature 1574. The reason it is thought to be a re-cut is due to the fact that the fill 1572 peeled off very cleanly to two earlier fills underneath (the stony nature of 1572 dramatically contrasts to these earlier fills). In addition, one of these earlier fills 1578 is loaced on the southern side of 2014 but not on the northern - implying that 1578 was the initial silting layer to 1574 but was cut away after a period of silting up by a cut ghostin the original, except this re-cut left a small remainder of this original fill on the S side.
