- Firm
- Light greyish yellowish brown with frequent dark brownish grey patches
- clayey silt (30:70)
- Mod charcoal fragments, occa very rounded to angular flint pebbles up to 50mm
- 1.05m N/S, c. 0.5m E/W, c. 0.7m thick
- Sealed by layer 2157. truncated to S by construction cut 2036 for brick cistern 2034 an to W. by modern intrusion.
- Recorded in section only before removal by machine.
