- (654) is the base fill of horncore pit 513. It is very low on finds but seems more organic in nature than the backfill over it (515). (654) is therefore probably silting at the base of horncore pit (which is probably a soakaway) when it was in use. (654) contained post-med clay pipe. (See section sketch on reverse of paper context sheet)
