Description
- Firm
- Dark mottled orangey blackish brown
- Sandy clay
- Mod. charcoal flake and small lumps, pot sherd, occ. bone, mix angular and sub-angular sontes 5-60mm
- 0.19m deep extends south form 9.25m N by 5 or 6 m, width greater than 4m (not fully excavated yet)
- Quite alot of pot sherd; plan sketch
- ex. with M + S + machine. variable conditions clear and dry and overcast and moist
