Group Description

- Layer (1454) also overlay (1616), the fill of the grave [1618]. Cut [1618] held burial 1617, an adult complete skeleton, around which has been found small pieces of pottery and nails, indicating the presense of a skelton. There was a noted piece of pot between the knees. There was also CBM below the skull. The preservation of hands and feet is was poor. The cut of the grave to the E is not very clear. [1618] was cut into (1658).

- A total of 36 pot sherds were recovered from this feature, all of which were dated to 250-400AD.
