- Post Medieval pit cuts were dug into fill (640), the relatively barren fill of linear cut [641], that seemed to function as a drainage aid (sg 161). This had a relationship with Late Post Medieval (645), the silty clay fill of heavily truncated pit cut [644], and this was cut into (732), the fill of linear [733]. The function of this feature is unclear, but is believed to be a robbed out drainage feature. These features were probably horizontally truncated by 20th C activities.
