- Roman pit cut [733], was dug into (822), the latest fill in pit cut [825], this pit also contained organic rich fill (823), that was sampled as <7>, and primary fill (824). However the cut and primary fill are seen as resulting from quarrying, and the secondary fills, which form this sub-group are seen as later events.

Dating Narrative

- One sherd was recovered from fill (823), which was broadly dated to 500-400 AD. However 10 sherds were recovered from context (822), which were dated to 50-160 AD.
