Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Underlying the modern overburden was (611), the only fill of soak-away {612}, the bricks of which had become brittle from post depositional processes. It was built into construction cut [614]. This was the same soakaway as {113} recorded in the evaluation.

Dating Narrative

    • The fill of this feature, (611), produced one pot sherd, dated to 1580-1900AD. The brick was unfrogged, indicating a Georgian period of construction.
