Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Underlying the modern overburde, (914) formed the latest back fill of soakaway {912}. Under (914) was (915), which overlay (916) the primary fill of {912}. It is in is in an area of intensive Post Medieval activity. Soakaway {937} is just 1m east of {912}, and {912} is very similar in shape, size of depth to soakaway 666 in area 1. Construction cut [913] was dug for {912}, and the cut tapers inwards at the base probably because it is cut into natural sand.
