- Linear cut [1455] was dug into (1479), the upper fill of N-S linear [1478]. Underlying (1479) was lower fill (1492). Fill (1479) contains large amounts of demolition material including tesserae, tegula, imbrex and small find - worked stone 156. It is understood that [1478] was a foundation trench, therefore it is probable that (1479) was a backfill deposit, post abandonment or demolition.
