- Cut [1509] was dug into (1596), the fill of [1597], a truncated feature, possibly a linear with N-S alignment. The fill was noted to be identical in composition and colour to lower fill (1577) of E-W linear [1455], so possibly had a relationship with the foundation trenches in the area. Cut [1597] was dug into (1634), a lense of charcoal rich sandy silt mixed with brickearth that was a later fill of [1644].
