- In an area of heavy truncation, underlying the modern overburden lay (1934), the fill of Roman pit cut [1933]. the mixed nature of fill (1934) indicated that it was a refuse deposit, the presence of nails and bone may indicate that it was redeposited material from with in the area of the cemetery. Cut [1933] was dug into (1848), the fill of [1847].

- A total of six pot sherds were recovered from the fill of this pit, all of which were dated to 250-400AD.
