- Underlying soils layer (627) was (628), redeposited natural gravels that represented yard surface around horn core pit {593}, and which was seen as associated with (624), a further beaten surface associated with the horn core pit. Layer (628) overlay (629), a reworked horticultural or agricultural deposit.
