- Pit cut [1793] was into (1797), a redeposited brick-earth containing disturbed cremation remains, indicating that this deposit was probably dug from with in the area of the cemetery. This layer overlay the natural gravels of the site area.

- One pot sherd was recovered from this layer, which was dated to 50-160AD. The stratagraphic position of this feature shows it to be relatively early.
