Basic Information
- Heavily truncated Roman linear
Sub Groups
-
Sub Group: PCO06_158
- Cut and fill of Roman linear
Group Description
-
- A Roman boundary feature was found to the north of area 1, subgroup 158, which is on the same orientation as subgroup 145. It is possible that these features were once part of the same linear, but they were separated by heavy truncation from Post Medieval quarry pit [639]. The presence of Roman ditch boundaries within the cemetery also corresponds to other sites dug around the area of Prescot Street, and it is possible that these features may line up with linears from the South Tenter St site to the north.
