Group Description

    • Walling remnants that formed the remains of housing that would have fronted on to Prescot Street. N-S wall {2045} and E-W wall {2046} were related to floor slab {2047}, as was N-S wall {2048}, and were built into construction cuts [2191], [2192], [2193], and [2194] respectively.

    • The stratigraphic position, form and function of these features, and the materials used in their construction, demonstrate them to be Late Post Medieval.
