Dating Information

    • The dating recovered from the fills of pit [797] included a copper broach, which has been broadly dated as Roman. However, given the stratigraphic position of this feature this find was probably residual, and the feature was probably Early Post Medieval. The pottery from this feature has been dated to 1480-1700AD, and the six pot sherds recovered from pit [620] were all dated to 1480-1600.
