- Pit cut [556] was filled with a series of deposits, the latest were fills (542) and (543), subgroup 172. The earlier deposits were (554), and the primary fill (555). This primary fill was a grey brown mixed deposit of sands and clays with moderate amounts of gravel inclusions, and was probably a form of inwash.

- Fill (555) produced 3 datable pot sherds, one of which was dated to 1350-1500AD, and is seen as residual, while two pot sherds were dated to 1480-1600AD.
