Subgroup Narrative Text

    • Layer (1403) overlay (1285), the fill of pit cut [1300]. The pit also contained cremation urn (1298) and human skull (1299), which were dumped rather than placed. So the pit was seemingly dug to take the redeposited burial items, and (1285) functioned as a capping layer. Pit cut [1300] was dug into (1381), the upper fill in large pit [1383], which also contained primary fill (1382).
