Dating Narrative
-
- A total of 11 pot sherds were recovered from the fill of this pit, all of which were dated to 120-140AD. This is earlier than the sherds dated from underlying deposit (1932), which were dated to 150-300AD. This indicates that (1930) was dug from another area of the site and deposited on top of (1932) to act as a capping layer.
