- Underlying Post Medieval layer (577) lay (582), the fill of [583]. Deposit (582) was a mixed dumped deposit that possibly represented a refuse dump. Cut [583] was a shallow pit dug into (590), the fill of [589], a probable construction cut for a soak-away, although there was no masonry present in the cut indicating that the structure was never built.
