- Post Medieval cuts [928] and [972] were dug into (911), a dumped deposit sampled as <22>, which overlay deposit (931), which in turn overlay water lain deposit (935), which overlay dumped deposit (943), which overlay (946). These layers formed a series of back fill deposits, seen as leveling deposits that overlay the back fills of Early Post Medieval quarry pit [1015].

Dating Narrative

- A total of 31 pot sherds were recovered from these layers. Three were recovered from (911), all dated to 1480-1600AD; six from (931) were dated to 1550-1600AD, and one dated to 1270-1500AD which was residual; two sherds from (935) were dated to 1480-1600AD; fifteen were dated to 1480-1550AD, with one residual sherd dated to 1270-1500AD; and two residual sherds from (946) were dated to 1400-1500AD, and one was dated to 1500-1630AD.
