- Layer (2157) sealed (2158), the back fill of [2159], a Roman pit cut. This feature was only recorded in section, and was noted during excavation to be a quarry pit. Fill (2158) is seen as a slumped infill, and the pit was dug into (2160), the fill of pit cut [2161].
