I took this photo immediately after this shoe was excavated. It was an exciting moment. The trowel is there as a crude scale so you can get an idea of size.
These photos taken on the 3rd of March show the site progressing. The piling rig is preparing the way for us by making the perimeter of the site safe to excavate
