This is the basement of a Victorian building. It was demolished and the cellar was filled in. We dug out the cellar using a machine and then we dug our trench through the concrete basement floor.
A few site shots and some interesting features. Liz has an exciting Roman votive offering, and Greg found the top of an amphora.
