The church is 19th century, the pits are probably 17th or 18th century and the site hut is pure 21st century.
A mixture of photographs from 2 very busy days on site, with a good group of burials. Next week I’ll get Liz, Will, Tomasz, Ruth and Adrian to write a journal entry each (if I can persuade them), as they all dug particularly interesting burials.
