This is the digger's eye view. I have included a lot of aerial shots because they are useful for us to monitor our progress, but this shows the view from down below.
Photo diary entry for 27th March. We are now getting through some of the modern and post medieval parts of the site and this is revealing earlier phases of archaeology below.
