This is the basement of a Victorian building. It was demolished and the cellar was filled in. We dug out the cellar using a machine and then we dug our trench through the concrete basement floor.
A few photos of the site and some of the possibly Roman contexts. An interesting close up of the skeleton 1458 as well.
