Linear feature 572
This long linear is probably a post medieval property boundary. Most of the quarry pits are to the West of this line and so it may have demarcated the edge of a plot used for gravel extraction.
A few working shots , and some interesting features found late in the day. We’re moving into the east end of the site and the preservation is getting better.
