These are a few images of the site as it stands today – We’ve excavated a huge area when you look back at what it was like in March..
Linear feature 572
This long linear is probably a post medieval property boundary. Most of the quarry pits are to the West of this line and so it may have demarcated the edge of a plot used for gravel extraction.
