Things on site have been pretty much plodding along in my area. A series of large quarry pits have proved a bit of a nightmare but we’ve pretty much esstablished the relationships and now it’s just a matter of some back breaking mattocking and shovelling to empty them. They all seem to be post-medieval although we’ve retrieved some residual roman pottery and a coin which shows that it is likely that these quarry pits must have truncated away Roman deposits in this area.

As for the editing together of the short films this has been delayed due to illness (my illness) and some technical problems. There is also the problem of finding the time to do it. There should be something up soon though.
