Field Archaeologists work on excavations – they dig, record and monitor evidence for the past. But not all archaeologists dig holes. There are many different areas of archaeology in which people work and roughly 5000 people work as archaeologists in the UK today. As soon as we realised the significance of this feature we decided to record a series of geophotos during excavation.
